This is an exciting opportunity to join the ‘Outstanding’ East Riding Youth Justice Service in a newly created role as a Transitions Worker. The service received a maximum score in the HMIP Inspection in January 2026, with the report noting ‘excellent work to achieve positive change for children and to keep children and the community safe. Assessing, planning and delivery were consistently strong across all areas. Work to keep children and communities safe was also exceptional, with practitioners recognising the factors that affected safety.’

The position of a Youth Justice Practitioner Transitions worker will provide support for children aged 17+ within the Youth Justice Service to reduce reoffending, prevent crime and support with transitioning into adulthood.
