Overview
An inclusive all-through secondary school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking an experienced and passionate SENDCo to join its leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SENDCo to make a significant impact in a school where SEN students make up around 20% of the cohort. The successful SENDCo will play a key role in shaping provision, driving inclusion, and ensuring every student achieves their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
As a SENDCo, you will lead and manage the SEN provision across the school, working closely with staff, students, and parents. The SENDCo will be responsible for overseeing EHCPs, coordinating interventions, and ensuring high-quality teaching and support for all learners. You will inspire and lead a team, monitor progress, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, support staff training and development, and contribute to whole-school improvement.
