Join our Global Repair Network Team at Siemens Energy, where you will play a pivotal role as a Project Engineer - Repair. Imagine leading technical programs from inception to completion, ensuring that we meet timelines and budgets while delivering top-notch repair solutions. You will collaborate closely with our external network of Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Centres (MROCs) and authorized Repair Vendors, forging strong relationships with stakeholders to maintain the necessary capability and capacity for our business needs. Your analytical skills will shine as you assess technical data to develop optimal repair solutions, all while driving continuous improvements in our processes and customer deliverables.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Lead defined technical programs, managing timelines and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
2. Define program milestones and collaborate with the repair network management team on project management activities.
3. Analyze technical data with our worldwide repair vendor network to identify and implement effective repair solutions.
4. Collaborate with internal global engineering teams to define and gain commitment for engineering programs.
5. Continuously identify and implement improvements in processes and technical solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
What You Bring
6. An engineering degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Materials, or Manufacturing discipline.
7. A minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience, with knowledge of gas turbines and industrial equipment.
8. Familiarity with project management and repair/manufacturing techniques throughout the product lifecycle.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
10. A flexible self-starter attitude, capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
