The post holder will meet and greet the General Public, Clinical and Clerical Staff, ensuring all reception processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
The postholder will provide an efficient and professional Reception service, ensuring quality service to all users. The role also includes undertaking general clerical duties within the reception.
To have a flexible approach in providing administrative support to the multi-disciplinary teams working with a client group with mental health problems. There will be client and carer telephone contact, as well as face-to-face contact at some sites, requiring good communication skills.
To meet the needs of the Trust services, you may be required to work outside of your normal area of work from time to time. The Trust reserves the right to change your normal area of work to any other location within the Trust. There may also be a requirement to provide cover for other North Manchester site reception areas.
* Provide administrative support to the clinical team.
* Ensure sufficient stocks of stationery are available to meet the team's needs without stockpiling.
* Monitor your own performance against agreed objectives as identified in the appraisal process.
* Ensure the general tidiness of the reception environment.
* Support colleagues appropriately with tasks while covering reception duties.
Record messages accurately in the daily diary for all team members.
