Role Overview
Working for a fantastic, fast-growing business, you will lead a team of three whilst driving impactful marketing campaigns. Your role is to shape strategy, oversee execution and ensure a consistent and engaging brand presence across all channels. This is a hands‑on role and you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of industry‑leading brands.
Please note that this is a fully site-based role in Portsmouth, working 8.45am – 5.30pm.
Responsibilities
* Lead, organise and support the digital and non-digital marketing team
* Plan and deliver creative, multi‑channel marketing campaigns
* Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across social media, email and content
* Contribute to and oversee social media activity across LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
* Strengthen digital marketing plans with clear growth‑focused strategies
* Align marketing and sales activity to improve the customer journey
* Manage and optimise campaigns to increase traffic, engagement and conversions
* Analyse brand positioning, market insights and campaign performance
* Propose innovative ideas for compelling campaigns and content updates
* Oversee website performance, analytics and user experience improvements
* Collaborate closely with sales and creative teams to meet business objectives
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to keep the brand ahead
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a similar in‑house digital marketing role
* Experience leading or managing a web or marketing team
* A marketing‑related degree or equivalent industry experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent copywriting and editing ability
* Confident, dynamic personality with the ability to inspire others
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* A collaborative approach when working with teams and stakeholders
