About the School:
Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a Primary School in Fareham who are looking to recruit a Primary Class Teacher to start ASAP. This is a long- term position where you will be teaching in a Primary school that was graded “Good” in all areas in their latest Ofsted inspection. The school prioritise the emotional well-being of their students and believe in a collaborative approach with parents and carers. With a welcoming and supportive staff, this school has an excellent environment for both students and educators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support progress in reading, writing and maths
* Creating a calm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all children feel safe, seen and supported
* Working closely with your year group team to share ideas, resources and strategies
* Assessing pupils’ progress and adapting your teaching to meet individual needs
* Communicating regularly with parents and carers to celebrate achievements and address concerns
* Contributing to the wider life of the school, from assemblies and enrichment activities to curriculum development
Qualifications & Skills:
* A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
* A calm, consistent classroom presence, able to create a secure and stimulating environment
* Strong understanding of early reading, phonics, writing and maths
* Someone who believes that relationships, routines and kindness underpin every great lesson
* A team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to contribute to the wider school community
