This is a flagship leadership position, responsible for the full operational and strategic direction of the estate's hospitality business. The General Manager will act as the driving force behind the guest experience, ensuring every detail, from arrival to departure, is executed flawlessly. This individual will lead a large, multidisciplinary team, instilling a culture of excellence, discretion, and intuitive service.
Balancing hands-on leadership with strategic oversight, the successful candidate will be as comfortable on the floor engaging with high-profile guests as they are shaping long-term vision and performance.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the estate's hospitality operations
Deliver an exceptional, ultra-luxury guest experience across all touchpoints
Inspire, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team
Drive service standards that reflect the estate's heritage and positioning
Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and commercial strategy
Collaborate closely with ownership on vision, growth, and brand positioning
Ensure seamless delivery across accommodation, F&B, and events
Requirements
Proven experience as a General Manager or Hotel Director within ultra-luxury hospitality
Background in leading complex, multi-outlet or estate-style operations
Exceptional leadership presence with a hands-on, detail-driven approach
Experience managing high-net-worth or UHNW clientele with discretion
Commercially astute with strong financial and operational acumen
A natural host with an instinct for elevated, personalised service
