Business Development Manager
Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of our client in Chesterfield.

Main Duties:
1. Developing and monitoring a network of dealerships for products in the UK.
2. Ensuring the network of dealers are sufficiently trained to optimise future sales. Product demonstrations will also form part of this training.
3. Drawing up annual sales forecasts informed by market observations and trends.
4. Creating monthly and quarterly forecasts for each customer, segmented by product type.
5. Coordinating activities between all departments including sales, service, and parts, and ensuring good communication between international sites.
6. Using marketing tools, primarily sales promotion and advertising, to optimise sales documentation, plan and hold regional trade fairs, demonstrations, and create construction site reports and photo stories.
7. Maintaining and developing the customer database with relevant market data, including contact details and fleet information.
8. Reporting technical, economic, and commercial information on competitors encountered during duties to management.
9. Communicating market requirements to sales management and relevant line departments.
10. Managing relationships between customers/distributors and resolving conflicts.
Requirements:
1. Business Development experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction is desirable.
2. Experience in selling to or building a network of dealers and merchants is advantageous.
Salary: 40k basic
