I am working with this secondary school in Barking & Dagenham who are looking for a dedicated ASD Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP. Working closely with teachers and the SEN team, you will help create an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. The role involves supporting individuals and small groups, promoting independence, and using strategies to develop communication, social, and learning skills. Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build positive relationships with students. Experience supporting young people with additional needs is desirable, though training will be provided.
