We are looking for a skilled CNC setter operator who is looking to take their next step into programming. The ideal candidate will be confident setting and operating CNC machines ideally with some programme editing experience, any prior programming experience will be advantageous. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are also essential. Training and support will be given by friendly, supportive and skilled CNC Engineers. Trainee CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator
* Setting and operating CNC Milling machines
* Editing programmes at the machine
* Shadowing engineers learning to programme at the machine
* Set and operate 3/4/5 Axis machines
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings
* Prepare and load materials and parts onto the machines
* Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
* Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
* Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements
Trainee CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator
* £28,000-£35,000 per annum (DOE)
* Overtime paid at a premium

* Days Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:00pm / Lunch time finish Friday
* 31 days holiday
