The role
An opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Team at Cambridge University Libraries and Archives (CULA) as a Finance Assistant. Reporting into the Finance Lead, you will work closely with all members of the Finance team, undertaking transaction processing and providing administrative support.
As a Finance Assistant you will
* Provide accounts payable and accounts receivable support to our colleagues in CULA.
* Be responsible for banking income received.
* Assist with the running of both month end and year end processes.
* Act as a contact for our CULA colleagues for accounting enquiries.
* Monitor stationery stock levels, ordering and distributing stationery as required.
What we are looking for
* Experience of working in an accounts environment.
* Experience of using standard Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
* Good organisational skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
