Role:Slitting Operator
Pay: £13.00 per hour rising to £15.06 per hour after 12 weeks
Working hours: 12 hour shifts both days and nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)
Various shift patters, rotating days and nights, rota will be provided for the whole year

Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate slitting machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
2. Monitor slitting equipment during operation to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
3. Load and unload rolls of material using hoists or lift equipment.
4. Measure and inspect finished rolls for width, cut accuracy, and material integrity.
5. Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to maintain machine efficiency.
6. Record production data, including material usage, output, and waste.
7. Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
