One of Scotland’s ship owners is recruiting for a Technical Maintenance Senior
Co-Ordinator
Reporting to the Technical Maintenance Manager this role will provide scheduling support across the whole fleet overhaul programme, management of the Asset Management System (AMS) and to support projects as and where necessary.
Other key responsibilities will include (but not limited to);
Maintenance Management:
* Manage and change the Asset Management System (AMS), including fleet management, user permissions, and technical records.
* Implement maintenance changes across vessels due to OEM, vessel incidents, or other initiated changes.
* Manage asset changes, including adding/removing equipment and updating maintenance jobs.
* Ensure consistency of maintenance across the fleet.
* Audit maintenance completion and manage overdue maintenance.
* Create and manage the annual overhaul schedule.
* Maintain certification of Life Saving Appliances (LSA) and manage related accounts.
* Respond to maintenance-related queries and conduct trend analysis.
Stakeholder Management:
* Liaise with Chief Engineers regarding maintenance changes.
* Support liaison between the company, contractors, classification society, and flag state.
* Act as the department's point of contact for maintenance-related matters.
* Participate and chair specified operational meetings.
* Collaborate with the Fleet Management Department to optimize maintenance regimes.
Requirements:
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Essential:
* Experience in planning projects and coordinating maintenance activities.
* Experience utilizing Maintenance Management Systems for complex assets.
* Management experience or readiness to take on a management role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to build relationships at all levels internally and externally.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Document, data, and process management skills.
* Ability to collate and report effective management information.
Desirable:
* Experience in commercial ship operations and management.
* Experience in quality management systems, processes, and procedures.
* Experience in complex data management and setting data standards
