Zanda is an Executive search partner that works exclusively with high growth start-ups as they look to scale their business with senior talent. Zanda partners with VCs, Founders, CEOs and CFOs when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments.
WHO IS THE BUSINESS
We are supporting a multi-award-winning digital payments scale-up that operates internationally. Following a successful Series B in 2024, they're scaling fast with a presence in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, and ambitions to go further. Their teams are based in Sheffield and London, and they have a collaborative, high-energy culture that you would expect in a high growth scale-up.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll own the financial health of the business end-to-end from monthly management accounts and year-end statutory reporting through to budgeting, reforecasting, and cash flow management. You'll produce financial models and scenario analysis that directly inform strategic decisions, and manage lender relationships, covenant reporting, and audit processes with confidence.
You'll be a key voice on fundraising and investor reporting, contributing to board packs and stakeholder financial models, while overseeing payroll across our UK and international locations. Tax planning, R&D relief, and regulatory compliance sit within your remit too.
Beyond the numbers, you'll act as a genuine strategic partner to the CEO translating complex financial insight into clear, actionable guidance and helping shape the direction of the business as we scale. You'll also lead and develop a growing Finance team, setting high standards and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
