Assistant Leakage Detection Engineer

Job Summary
Full-time permanent role (40 hours/week) starting at £25,400 per year, increasing to £27,000 upon progression to Leakage Detection Engineer. Assist experienced engineers in detecting leaks across public and private water networks using advanced acoustic technologies. Night shifts and outdoor work required.
Key Responsibilities
* Detect leakage using various methods and acoustic sounding equipment
* Carry out valve operations, water pressure checks, and install pressure logging equipment
* Check flow data, install loggers on flow meters
* Identify and resolve customer-side leakage
* Deploy, collect, and analyze acoustic and hydro loggers
Requirements
* Essential Experience: Civil/construction site work or equivalent outdoor experience
* Good computer skills and knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Physical fitness for confined spaces and outdoor work
* Flexibility for night shifts and varying hours
* Excellent time management, communication, numeracy skills
