We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join the Reception team at a welcoming and supportive primary school in Maidenhead. The role involves supporting the class teacher to ensure the children benefit from a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities: Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver fun, purposeful activities that support learning. Help prepare classroom resources, learning materials, and engaging displays. Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups, including children with additional needs. Encourage positive behaviour and uphold high standards of care and learning. Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, fostering independence and self-confidence. Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, sharing feedback on progress and well-being. Requirements: ✅A level 2 or level 3 qualification in childcare is preferred but not essential ✅Previous experience working with children in an EYFS or Reception environment. ✅Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required. ✅An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
