This isn’t about maintaining the status quo – it’s about driving improvements, tightening controls, and ensuring cash keeps flowing.Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Leading and developing a team of across multiple locations
* Driving process improvements and implementing new controls to streamline operations
* Managing credit risk, compliance, and relationships with credit agencies and providers
* Overseeing dispute management and escalations, ensuring timely resolution
* Producing and presenting insightful reports to the Executive Leadership Team on aged debt and trends
* Holding regular debt review meetings with account managers for key enterprise customers
* Ensuring KPIs and OKRs are met, with performance linked to commission incentives
What you will need:
* Proven experience in a senior Credit & Collections role, such as Credit Manager, Collections Manager, or similar
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams
* Ability to analyse data, produce meaningful reports, and present confidently to senior stakeholders
* Experience implementing process improvements and driving change
* Knowledge of legal and litigation processes within credit control
* Ideally CICM qualified (or working towards), but not essential
* Comfortable challenging and influencing other departments when needed
* Intermediate Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI an advantage
