Graduate Teaching Assistant – Wigan | Primary & Secondary Schools
We are currently recruiting graduates to work as Teaching Assistants across a range of primary and secondary schools in Wigan and the surrounding areas.
These roles are ideal for anyone considering a career in education and looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in the classroom before progressing into teacher training.
Role are available immediately or from September and offer a great way of securing paid work experience prior in preparation for a PGCE/teacher training course.

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Delivering intervention sessions to support progress
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management
Supporting revision sessions and exam preparation where required
Contributing to the wider school environment
Requirements:
A recent graduate (any subject considered)
An interest in working within education or pursuing teaching
A proactive and reliable approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils
