Job Title: Senior HR Advisor

As Senior HR Advisor you will provide expert, pragmatic advice to managers and colleagues across the business, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant people management practices. Y ou will play a key role in managing complex employee relations matters, support ing organisational change, and promot ing a positive and inclusive employee experience.
This role will involve:
Act ing as the lead advisor on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, performance, bullying and harassment, and redundancy processes
Provid ing timely, commercially sound advice to managers on ER issues, ensuring alignment with employment law, internal policies, and best practice
Manag ing escalated or high-risk ER cases, balancing legal risk, employee wellbeing, and business priorities
Supporting organisational change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE, and consultation processes
Identify ing ER trends and root causes, providing insights and recommendations to reduce risk and improve engagement
Review ing, interpret ing and apply ing HR policies consistently across the organisation
Support ing the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and manager toolkits
Build ing manager capability through coaching, guidance, and delivery of ER-related training
Act ing as a mentor to junior HR colleagues, sharing ER knowledge and best practice
Produc ing ER metrics and reports to inform decision-making
Contribut ing to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience
About you

Our ideal Senior HR Advisor will :
D emonstrate experience of managing complex and sensitive ER cases independently
H ave a strong working knowledge of employment law
Show excellent influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills
B e a confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
H old a level 5 CIPD qualification or have equivalent experience
As a national company some travel will be required in this role, therefore access to a vehicle and a valid UK driver's licence is required .
