We're Hiring: Sports Therapist (Part-Time, Employed)
Churchdown, Gloucestershire, GL3 2QU
Mon, Tues & Fri (start date flexible)
Are you a qualified Sports Therapist (minimum BSc level) with strong hands-on skills, a genuine wish to help people, and an appetite to be part of a kind, passionate and collaborative team that values growth, learning and making a meaningful difference? Then this could be your next great move.
We're Churchdown Osteopaths, one of the largest and most well-respected osteopathic clinics in the UK, with a national and international reputation for excellence in the cranial approach to osteopathy. Our team includes senior postgraduate educators and experienced practitioners with many years of experience, and we're particularly well known for our work with babies, children, and supporting women during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
We're a team who genuinely love what we do — it shows in how we care for patients, how we support each other, and how committed we are to continually learning and improving. Our clinic is modern, warm and welcoming (without feeling overly clinical). Families return to us generation after generation, and our staff enjoy working in a calm, purposeful environment.
Don't just take our word for it — Google "Churchdown Osteopaths" to read our Google Reviews and get a feel for the place.
What's This Role All About?
This is an exciting opportunity to help us expand our approach to soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation and injury prevention, working closely with our osteopaths to support patients through every stage of life.
If you have an interest in women's health or postnatal recovery, that's a bonus (even if you've not yet got qualifications), and we'd be happy to support further training, including postnatal rehab certifications such as the Mummy MOT or similar, depending on eligibility and interest.
What You'll Be Doing
Delivering effective soft tissue treatment with skill and care
Creating tailored rehab and exercise plans
Working collaboratively with our osteopaths on patient care
Supporting a wide range of patients, from athletes to new mums
Building strong patient relationships with warmth and clarity
You'll Be a Great Fit If You:
Have a BSc in Sports Therapy (essential)
Are confident with massage and soft tissue techniques
Have excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
Are a proactive, organised team player
Live within a reasonable commute to Churchdown
Are passionate about helping others — and committed to continual learning and professional development
Have (or want to develop) interest in pregnancy and postnatal care
What You'll Get from Us
Employed position – 3 days/week (Mon, Tues, Fri)
Competitive base salary plus performance bonus
CPD budget for external training
1:1 mentoring and support from experienced osteopaths
Free osteopathic treatment
Generous holiday allowance and pension
Easily accessible location – close to major routes with ample nearby parking
A genuinely supportive, kind and experienced team in a calm, professional atmosphere
Ready to Apply?
We'd love to hear from you — a CV and a short note is great, or even better, a quick video introduction answering two questions:
1. What is it about this role that interests you?
2. What's one thing we should know about you that makes you a great fit for our team?
No pressure — just be yourself and tell us a little about what you love about sports therapy.
