An exciting opportunity for an experienced sales administrator has arisen to join this well-established manufacturing business based in Derby. Reporting into the Sales Manager you be responsible for supporting them on a day to basis and ensuring that the office runs smoothly.
Some previous sales experience would be an advantage, although this role is more focused in the administration side. Strong administration and ability to be proactive and deal with customers is most important
Your main duties as Sales Administrator will be:
1. Maintain an effective Sales hub by:
2. Receiving incoming telephone calls in a friendly and helpful manner
3. Ensure that the Sales Office is manned during normal office hours or that communication is maintained
4. Informing the Sales Supervisor of any new/Private customers up to date to allow them to process these
5. File all quotes for enquiries and learn the process of quoting in order that this can be effectively integrated into the role
6. Ordering customers materials, where directed by the Sales Supervisor and keeping all documents in an orderly fashion
7. Regular quote chasing for all quotes
8. File completed Sales Order files having checked with the Sales Supervisor that all relevant documentation is clear and contains all necessary information for the Production Co-ordinator to produce an accurate Job Card
