Nestled in the heart of Peebles in the Scottish Borders, our boutique hotel is a locally loved, hotel known for its warm hospitality, relaxed elegance, and genuine connection to the community. We're looking for a Hotel Duty Manager who can help us deliver exceptional service, lead with confidence, and keep the rhythm of daily operations flowing smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
* Overseeing day-to-day hotel operations across reception, housekeeping, and food & beverage
* Supporting and motivating staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences
* Handling guest queries and resolving issues with warmth and professionalism
* Ensuring health & safety and operational standards are consistently met
* Acting as the senior point of contact during your shift
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations (supervisory level preferred)
* A natural leader with great communication and problem-solving skills
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays calm under pressure
* A hands-on attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends

Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £29,000 per annum
