Our Opportunity
Were looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated hotel maintenance team. No two days are the same in this varied and fast-paced role if you enjoy keeping things running smoothly and take pride in solving problems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
About the Role:
As a key member of our small but mighty maintenance team, youll support the day-to-day upkeep of the hotel. Youll be involved in a wide range of tasks including repairs, alterations, installations, and general maintenance of equipment and facilities. Working closely with our Maintenance Manager, youll deliver both reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM), helping to keep everything operating safely and efficiently.
Youll also assist with Health & Safety checks and procedures to ensure our guests and team members enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Carrying out general maintenance and repairs across the hotel
* Supporting reactive maintenance and responding to urgent issues
* Assisting with planned preventive maintenance schedules
* Helping to maintain health & safety compliance and documentation
* Communicating effectively with other departments and team members
* Ensuring timely completion of all tasks with a high standard of workmanship
