The Scottish Ambulance Service Fleet Department maintain a fleet of approximately 1,500 emergency response, scheduled care and support vehicles nationally through 13 in house maintenance facilities and partner services. The Fleet Services team provide and maintain all vehicles and equipment for our operational and support service colleagues ensuring a safe and effective fleet maintained through our in-house maintenance facilities and key partners ensuring best value for the Service.
We have an exciting role within the Fleet Services Department to join the Fleet team. This post will provide support for the Senior Management Team in Fleet. The post holder will be an experienced, talented, self-motivated and enthusiastic person. This role will require the post holder to work pro-actively in all aspects of the role. They will need to be flexible and able to cope with periods of pressure and competing demands. Excellent communication skills and the ability to produce accurate, timely and appropriately concise support are essential. The fleet team are based at National Head Quarters in Edinburgh the working location will be confirmed
It would be desirable for the post holder to hold a full valid driving licence (Category B).
