Overview
We are seeking a qualified, dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a supportive environment for both patients and staff and have an experienced background in assisting with dental implants.
Duties
* Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
* Provide exceptional patient care by welcoming patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
* Manage the sterilisation of instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to meet health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, oral hygiene instructions, and follow-up care.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of care within the practice.
* Utilise IT systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and processing billing as required.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Dental Nurse must be qualified with experienced background in assisting with dental implants
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues professionally.
* A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing a positive experience for all patients visiting the practice.
* Familiarity with dental procedures and terminology is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
