Location: Outstanding SEN School in Norwich
Role: Part-time/ Full-time (Flexible based on candidate availability)
Subjects: Maths (Functional Skills & GCSE) and GCSE Science
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one Maths and Science tuition at an amazing SEN school in Norwich. This is a flexible role that can be full-time or part-time depending on availability, offering an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and tailored one-to-one sessions infunctional Skills Maths, GCSE Maths, and GCSE Science.
2. Adapt teaching strategies to support students with a variety of learning needs and abilities.
3. Work closely with SEN staff and support teams to ensure individual progress and engagement.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and development plans.
5. Create an inclusive, supportive, and structured learning environment.
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience in Maths and Science.
7. Experience working with SEN students, particularly in a one-to-one setting.
8. Strong subject knowledge in Maths (Functional Skills & GCSE) and GCSE Science.
9. Excellent communication and adaptability to support individual learning needs.
10. A patient, understanding, and student-focused approach to teaching.
