As a member of our esteemed marketing team at Make UK, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the creation and implementation of marketing communications, campaigns, events, and projects. Your focus will be supporting us on enhancing our profile, acquiring and engaging customers, and ensuring their retention. Additionally, you will provide valuable assistance to team members in executing day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating various marketing initiatives and activities.

We provide a wide array of support services primarily centred around people-related aspects to our esteemed members. Our services span across the UK, covering key areas such as employment law, HR, Health, Safety & Environment, venue/conference management, Apprentices & Skills training, and Occupational Health services. We cater to over 2,000 member organizations and numerous non-member clients through various contractual arrangements, including an annual membership subscription model.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the coordination, measurement, and reporting of marketing activities to evaluate their effectiveness.
* Assist in marketing and delivering events and external exhibitions programs.
* Contribute to the development and execution of online and print communications, including e-shots, newsletters, email campaigns, social media activities, reports, guides, webinars, and publications.
* Create marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, case studies, and PowerPoint presentations.
* Aid in producing artwork, sourcing images, print buying, and proofreading copy.
* Coordinate the production of branded items, such as stationery and merchandise.
* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers as necessary.
Technical knowledge & experience:
* Previous experience in a marketing role
* Proficiency in internal stakeholder and supplier management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, along with experience in design programs like Adobe, Canva, or similar.
* Understanding of the ethos and ethics of membership-based organizations.
* Experience in working within specified budgets.
* Knowledge of event and exhibition marketing and management.
* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
* Degree level education or equivalent.
* Approachable and flexible
* Supports team goals & achievements.
* Ability to build external & internal relationships.
* Ability to problem solve
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
