What the role involves As an EYFS Cover Teacher, you’ll be stepping into early years classrooms to keep learning flowing while the class teacher is away. Your day might include: • Delivering engaging lessons to Reception or nursery classes • Supporting young children as they learn through play and exploration • Creating a calm, positive, and nurturing learning environment • Following existing plans and routines set by the school • Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff Every school is different, which means every day brings something new.
