About the Programme
The Trent Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is a partnership between the Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln and three local NHS Trusts in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The programme enrolls 32 trainees per year, is approved by the Health & Care Professions Council and accredited by the British Psychological Society.
About the Roles
These posts are Research Tutor posts with a small component of Academic Tutor duties, based at the University of Nottingham. The role involves offering and supervising doctoral research, developing a research stream linked to your interests and experience, and providing academic assessment, pastoral support and curriculum delivery across the DClinPsy programme.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering doctoral training, supervising research, assessing students, supporting pastoral needs, and contributing to curriculum delivery within the DClinPsy programme.
Qualifications
You must be a qualified Clinical Psychologist registered with the HCPC and eligible for Chartered Status with the BPS. Substantial post‑qualification experience is desired but less experienced applicants are also encouraged to apply. A genuine passion for training others and a broad range of knowledge, skills and attributes that enable effective work in a busy, diverse environment are essential.
Working Hours & Contract
This is a part‑time position (up to 29 hours per week), on a fixed‑term contract ending 1st April 2029.
