We are looking for a highly motivated Asset Manager to support the end-to-end servicing of a portfolio of loan assets at Barclays. This role will involve onboarding new deals, managing day-to-day processing, documentation review, lifecycle servicing, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of Barclays’ loan assets, ensuring efficient servicing and control, while also acting as a critical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful as an Asset Manager, you should have experience with:
* An excellent understanding of the loan market, including investment-grade lending and leveraged finance.
* Solid knowledge of Loan Market Association (LMA) and Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) documentation and deal structures.
* Experience managing large and complex loan portfolios.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret detailed legal and financial documentation.
This role will be located at our Manchester office.
Purpose of the role
To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
* Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
* Monitoring the bank’s lending operations to ensure they are conducted efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
* Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
* Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.
* Develop and implement Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
* Create reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
* Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practices in Wholesale Lending Services.
* Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
