Duties will include securing evidence to a suitable standard for both internal disciplinary and criminal court proceedings, drafting fraud reports for each case and making recommendations for improvement in internal controls as well as proactive fraud prevention by developing and delivering fraud awareness training across the council. The postholder will also be expected to conduct internal audits and provide advice to services on internal control and risk management matters. Computer literacy, written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, effective analytical skills and the ability to work in a confidential environment are essential
