Finance Analyst required for our Government client based in either London/Manchester or Bristol- Rate 250/300 p/d inside IR35/Umbrella Co
Start date Monday 20th May for 12 months
REMOTE - However You will need to visit the office for ad hoc meetings, likely to be once a month onsite

You will need to be comfortable with data analysis, spreadsheets and Google sheets
Strong customer relations skills are highly important, the candidates should be confident speaking with people
Experience working within an invoicing or finance team, working at pace with a large number of customers
Attention to detail is integral, as is the ability to maintain this under pressure and during busy periods

The focus of this role will be reducing the accruals and the work will be led by Finance Operations Analyst.
You will:
Communicate with customers to ensure purchase orders are in place, raise invoices, keep the billing tracker up-to-date, set up new customers on the finance system, and respond to customer queries.
Respond to invoicing queries from our financial services provider and revise invoices or raise credit notes as required.
Be responsive and adaptable to meet the changing and varied work carried out in the team, this includes covering appropriate work when the other team members are absent.
Work collaboratively with the Finance Operation Analyst, Business Operations team, and Notify team
Monitor and maintain the billing data to ensure compliance and audit requirements are met.
You will:
Have experience supporting the billing of a high volume product
Can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
Have a track record of delivery through collaboration, including evidence of organisational skills, personal impact, and judgement working with colleagues, stakeholders and customers
billing management including tracking, reporting, forecasting and risk identification
Possess strong data analysis skills combined with a clear understanding of how to present complex information in a clear and understandable way to gain decisions
Have strong engagement skills to support customers through the billing process, and have the confidence and knowledge to communicate the process in depth to both internal stakeholders and customers
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets and have a basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Gmail)
