Job Summary
As an Associate Closer, you'll strive to aid mortgage lending clients. You'll communicate and coordinate closing process and information to clients and lawyers/title companies to ensure accurate information and timelines are on track to finalize the mortgage funding process.
Responsibilities
1. Effectively communicate with clients using written and verbal communication methods using a positive, empathetic and professional attitude
2. Understand conditions needed to close to obtain final loan approval and review them with the client
3. Understand how the different teams in the mortgage process impact the client experience and can change communication tactics based on the information
4. Schedule mortgage closing dates with clients and assist in rescheduling if needed
5. Deliver final figured to clients
6. Answer questions from client/agent/insurer/solicitor throughout the closing process
7. Communicate with customers through various channels, responding promptly to customer inquiries
8. Review accuracy of information for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
9. Communicate and coordinate with team members as necessary
10. Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional, timely customer support and communication to both internal and external clients
11. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
12. Manage individual pipelines and service level agreements (SLA’s)
