Change Connect are looking for an experienced Cloud Telephony engineer to join our expanding team at our Colchester office. This is an in house and on the road role. The primary role of a Cloud Services Engineer is to provide an initial response to tickets logged across the Manage Services voice portfolio, this includes areas such as:
* Cloud Telephony
* Front line support
In technological areas such as:
* Voip
* SIP
* Call recording
The core deliverables are to provide a response and triage or complete the actions required in the following ticket categories as a minimum:
* Remote incidents
* Change
* Tasks
* There is also a requirement to work closely across the entire Managed Services team, providing a technical support function to other engineers, teams and both internal/external customers.
What will you do?
* Deliver a high standard of support to both internal and external customers.
* Work as part of a team to achieve SLA's on initial and fix response.
* Quick and accurate assessment of a technical issues with a view to escalate if required.
* Completion of tasks or activities with attention to detail/outcome.
What are we looking for?
* Established knowledge on Cloud systems/telephony.
* Established knowledge of networking concepts.
* Awareness of compute technologies/infrastructure.
* Awareness of virtualisation technologies.
* Time spent on a technical desk would be advantageous.
* Experience in working in the telecommunications industry.
* Structured cabling experience (cat5, cat6,cat6a and cat7) an advantage but not essential.
