Job Title: Planning and Logistics Supervisor
Hours of Work: Mon-Fri (40 hours per week)
Job Purpose: To support the continued growth of DekBoard by taking responsibility for the efficient planning, coordination, and logistical management of decking installation operations. Based at our Scunthorpe facility and reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this role serves as the central point of communication between senior management, sales, and installation teams. The Planning & Logistics Supervisor will handle scheduling, administration, and day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth workflow across departments. Success in this position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable individual who is committed to delivering exceptional service and driving operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
* Coordinate and schedule decking installations
* Maintain accurate administrative systems (filing, documentation, compliance)
* Handle all customer, team and supplier communications
* Process purchase orders and manage invoice documentation
* Support senior managers and sales/installation team members
* Maintain stock levels for decking tools, equipment, and office supplies
* Track remedial works and maintain related records
* Manage timekeeping, holiday, and sickness records for installation teams
* Ensure all installation documentation is accurate and up to date
* Uphold and update facility procedures and compliance policies
* Oversee company fleet, tools, PPE, and training records
* Administer groundwork and decking hire fleet information
* Coordinate staff travel and accommodation
* Liaise with customers and parks regarding installation schedules
Role Requirements
* Previous experience in a planning, logistics or operational support role
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal business systems
* Ability to read and interpret site surveys and installation plans
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Must hold a full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
