This is a hands-on role will help organisations drive cost efficiencies in their cloud environments, by continually aligning FinOps capabilities to continuously optimise spend and deliver maximum value from their public cloud investment.Key Responsibilities:Examine, analyse, prioritise cloud cost optimisation recommendations and calculate potential savings and benefits using FinOps toolsImplement rate and usage optimisations within public cloud environments (Azure, AWS and GCP)Guide our customers in making cost-effective architectural decisionsCommunicate FinOps principles to key stakeholders with our customersCollaborate with managed services teams to design and implement cost optimisations recommendations and best practices.Build and manage a backlog on cost-saving initiativesArchitect and develop automation runbooks to help drive cloud cost efficiencies, along with continual development of Policy as Code initiatives, further bolstering Cloud Cost Governance Skills / ExperienceHands on experience implementing FinOps to optimise cloud costs, with deep understanding of levers available to optimise cloud costsStrong understanding of the FinOps Framework, capabilities, lifecycle and domainsHands on experience with native and 3rd party public cloud cost management tools such as IBM Cloudability and KubeCostServiceNow experience as a Cloud Management PlatformStrong DevOps skills, including Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, along with RedHat AnsibleAbility to develop and maintain strong internal and client relationshipsHighly strong numerical and finance skills to investigate data and spot trends and anomaliesQualificationsCertifications such as FinOps Practitioner or FinOps ProfessionalAWS Certified Cloud PractitionerMicrosoft Certified: Azure FundamentalsGoogle Cloud Digital Leader CertificationAdditional InformationAt Telefónica Tech, we believe inclusion is the bridge that empowers everyone to be their authentic selves.
