As a MOS Operative, you will be required to work on Traffic Management Schemes for various projects. Your main responsibilities include manual control of traffic light systems on site to ensure smooth traffic flow and effective monitoring of site conditions. You may also work alongside qualified operatives to ensure jobs run efficiently while maintaining high Health and Safety standards. This role requires flexibility due to the nature of the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understand safe working methods and best practice procedures. Learn to carry out risk assessments and method statements related to traffic management works.
2. Ensure all activities are performed according to established procedures, and identify areas for improvement, reporting them to your line manager.
3. Assist with daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety for the driver and passengers.
4. Promote a positive company image through proper attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
5. Assist the public by directing them through safe site lines when required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Training provided in the following areas:
* Traffic management procedures and safety standards.
Experience and Qualifications
* Valid UK Driving License is required.
