Overview
Early Years Skills Assessor Coach - West London. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Years Tutor in the West London area to deliver L2, L3, and L5 Childcare apprenticeship qualifications. This is a home-based role with travel in the local region to meet with learners in their workplace.
This vacancy is open to experienced, qualified assessors and newly qualified assessors. Due to the volume of applications, only applicants who have answered the qualifying questions will be considered. The successful candidate will deliver vocational qualifications, prepare learners for end-point assessments, and use coaching and assessment methods that comply with National Standards and Awarding Body requirements. You will provide high levels of support to learners and work closely with childcare providers to ensure training provision meets their business needs. Achieving organisation targets for qualification achievement rates is a key responsibility.
In addition to teaching and assessing, the role includes administration tasks, managing appointments, and keeping up-to-date with policies and procedures. Strong time-management and organisational skills, a positive outlook, and self-motivation are essential.
Responsibilities
* Deliver vocational qualifications (L2, L3, L5) in Childcare.
* Prepare learners for End-Point Assessments.
* Use coaching and assessment methods compliant with National Standards and Awarding Body requirements.
* Provide high levels of learner support and liaise with childcare providers to meet business needs.
* Achieve organisational targets for qualification achievement rates.
* Undertake administration tasks, manage appointments, and stay up-to-date with policies and procedures.

Qualifications
* Essential: CAVA, A1 award or equivalent.
* Essential: Degree in Early Years and/or Nursery Management experience.
* Desirable: Min Level 3 Teaching Qualification (AET, PTTLS or equivalent).
* Desirable: Childcare assessing experience.
* Desirable: A desire to continually improve; excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task; great presentation skills; ability to energise others; credibility with senior leadership; ability to work under tight deadlines; strong organisation, accuracy, IT literacy.
