We are looking for a Tool Hire Driver Fitter to join the successful, growing team at our Henley branch. Experience preferred but not necessary; full training can be provided.
As a Tool Hire Driver Fitter at Jewson, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive safe, well‑maintained equipment and excellent service.
Responsibilities
* Deliver day‑to‑day tool hire activities, deploying resources to ensure efficient, effective and safe operations.
* Lead by example in developing strong relationships through regular customer interaction, supporting the team to maximise growth through proactive cross‑selling.
* Deliver and collect customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring orders are accurate and all equipment is secured and loaded/offloaded safely in accordance with company procedures.
* Support branch colleagues in building knowledge and competence in tool hire products.
* Conduct pre‑delivery checks to ensure tools and machinery are clean, safe, and fully operational.
* Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and record keeping.
* Inspect, test, and carry out basic repairs on a range of tools and small plant (e.g., breakers, saws, mixers, access equipment).
Working Hours
This is a full‑time role working Monday‑Friday 07:30‑17:00, with the requirement of working every other Saturday 08:00‑12:00.
