We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Consultant to join our team. As an Internal Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building excellent relationships with new and lapsed customers to understand and meet their needs.
Your primary focus will be on maximising customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products, offering specific product advice.
You will also be expected to get to know our suppliers and continuously look for opportunities to improve product and industry knowledge, ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion.
Furthermore, you will need to follow plans to continuously improve customer experience and advise customers on trading terms and conditions and information in relation to customer accounts and credit levels.
Additionally, you will be required to support all Company initiatives and ensure that customer expectations are exceeded at all times.
The role involves working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You must be proactive, well organised, and have great attention to detail as well as being efficient in using IT equipment and having a strong telephone presence.
