About Rewriting Earth
Rewriting Earth is a fast-moving non-profit with a unique mission: to make environmentalism mainstream. We work with everyone from scientists and charities to influencers and celebrities to produce engaging campaigns that reach new audiences and shift perspectives on the climate crisis. With hundreds of millions of views and multiple behaviour-change wins under our belt, we've proven our impact in the B2C space.
Now, we're ready to scale our work in the B2B world — helping organisations tell their climate stories through powerful, culturally resonant campaigns. That's where you come in.
The role
We're looking for a Marketing Manager to lead and build out our marketing function from the ground up. This is a strategic and hands-on role — perfect for someone excited to shape a marketing engine with real impact. You'll be our first full-time marketer and will work closely with the CEO and other team members to generate demand, build our brand in the B2B space, and nurture a growing community passionate about climate storytelling.
This role sits at the intersection of brand, content, and growth. You'll design and deliver campaigns that bring in new B2B clients, nurture them through the pipeline, and grow awareness of Rewriting Earth's work across industries that may become our new clients.
Key responsibilities
1. Strategy & demand generation
* Design and own a full-funnel, multi-channel marketing strategy to generate and nurture B2B leads
* Develop personas and messaging tailored to target sectors (e.g. NGOs, purpose-led businesses, cultural institutions)
* Work with the CEO and delivery team to define ideal customer profiles and high-potential opportunities
* Track and report performance metrics, iterating based on insights
2. Campaign management & execution
* Plan and execute full-funnel campaigns that support brand awareness and demand generation — from ideation through to delivery and analysis
* Own the day-to-day execution of marketing activity across social media, email, and web — including writing and scheduling posts, publishing blogs, and repurposing content for multiple formats and platforms
* Ensure campaign content is delivered consistently across channels and aligned with audience needs, trends, and timing
* Collaborate with content creators, freelancers, or internal stakeholders to develop high-impact creative that supports campaign goals
* Monitor campaign performance in real time and optimise based on engagement and reach
3. Content & thought leadership
* Lead the creation of compelling B2B content streams — blog posts, insights, case studies, playbooks — that showcase RE's value and voice
* Collaborate with delivery teams to share lessons learned, highlight impact, and spark industry conversations
* Identify opportunities for media placements, speaking engagements, and awards
4. Community & channel growth
* Develop a social media and email strategy that engages our existing audiences and builds awareness in new verticals
* Experiment with creative ways to engage community members and contributors online
* Grow and maintain an active online presence for Rewriting Earth across priority platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Substack, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook)
5. Internal enablement
* Collaborate with the CEO and delivery teams to create marketing assets that support sales conversations
* Build internal processes for campaign planning, content production, and performance tracking
* Recommend and manage marketing tools, CRM integrations, and external freelancers or agencies
You'll thrive in this role if you…
* Are a proactive, strategic marketer who's excited to build from scratch
* Have experience generating B2B leads and creating compelling content across channels
* Understand how to use marketing to support both brand building and pipeline growth
* Bring a balance of creativity, experimentation, and analytical thinking to your work
* Are passionate about environmental issues, culture, and making impact mainstream
* You're happy to roll up your sleeves and run day-to-day execution — from writing LinkedIn posts to publishing blogs and reporting results
