Tax Senior | Up to £35,000 DOE | Newcastle-under-Lyme
We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our well-established and growing Tax Department. Role Overview
As a member of the tax team, you will deliver a wide range of personal tax services to clients. You will ensure clients tax affairs are managed accurately and efficiently, developing strong relationships and providing expert guidance. The role encompasses work on Self Assessment Tax Returns, Trust and Estate Reporting, Capital Gains Tax submissions and Trust Registration Service compliance, offering a varied and dynamic workload.
Main Responsibilities
· Prepare Self Assessment Tax Returns for a diverse range of personal clients.
· Complete P11d forms and support broader personal tax compliance.
· Assist with the preparation of Trust and Estate Tax Returns.
· Assist with Inheritance Tax calculations and planning.
· Submit 60-day Capital Gains Tax reports for UK residential property disposals.
· Manage compliance obligations for the Trust Registration Service (TRS).
· Liaise directly with clients, legal professionals and other advisers.
· Participate in internal training and contribute to the technical development of the team.
Candidate Profile
· 3-4 years (or more) of experience in a tax-focused role, with a strong interest in personal tax.
· ATT or CTA qualified or actively studying towards a tax qualification.
· Solid and up-to-date knowledge of Self Assessment, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax legislation.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
· Confident communication skills with a proactive and client-focused approach.
