ABC Teachers are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants in the Shrewsbury area to work in Key Stage 1 (KS1) within primary schools. We have a variety of general support and SEN roles available, with opportunities throughout the autumn term.
The Role
This position includes:
* Full-time and part-time hours, typically from 08:30 to 15:30.
* Supporting pupils emotional, mental, and educational development.
* Immediate start available, with additional roles starting from November.
The Schools
You will be working in primary schools across Shrewsbury, where ABC Teachers have established long-term partnerships.
Requirements
To be considered for this Teaching Assistant position, you will:
* Have a positive attitude towards working with pupils and staff in a school setting.
* Have referenceable experience in a childcare or education setting.
* A childcare qualification is preferred but not essential; relevant experience will also be considered.
* Be committed to school hours.
* Be able to provide references covering the last two years.
* Hold or be willing to obtain a DBS registered on the update service.
