Are you a passionate and adaptable Dance teacher looking for flexible work in secondary schools?
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Secondary School Dance Teachers to support our partner schools in Twickenham and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience teaching in a variety of school environments – perfect for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) aiming to develop their practical and creative classroom practice.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and dynamic Dance lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4
Inspire pupils through choreography, performance, and dance technique
Manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Adapt quickly to new school settings and build effective connections with students
Provide continuity of learning during the absence of the regular teacher
Opportunities for ongoing work, including short-term cover and block bookings
About You:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent UK teaching qualification
Confident teaching Dance across Key Stages 3 and 4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Flexible, reliable, and adaptable to different school environments
A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their creative development
Child workforce Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
