Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer with a strong electrical/electronic and mechanical background to support our client’s specialist operations in Vibration Test Equipment Systems. This role requires travel across the UK and internationally and flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs at customer sites.
* Install, service, and troubleshoot Vibration Test Equipment.
* Respond quickly to service requests, sometimes at short notice.
* Ensure all work follows health and safety regulations.
* Work closely with other engineers to complete projects on time.
* Take on additional tasks to meet business needs.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2/BTEC in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
* HNC qualification and knowledge of vibration testing are an advantage.
* Previous experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting and electrical systems.
* Able to work independently and under pressure.
* Willing to work flexible hours and travel internationally.
* Valid passport and UK driving licence required.
* Experience with 3-phase and high-voltage/current systems.
