We're looking for a Jira Administrator to join our team working onsite at our Manchester studio. This role will be an integral part of the Systems Analysis team, which focuses on all corporate administrative technologies and processes. While this includes survey analysis and Workday, this role will have heightened responsibilities for our Atlassian products, especially Jira and Confluence. This person will work collaboratively with management and stakeholder teams and departments to support the ongoing maintenance, improvement, and new deployments.
Responsibilities
* Assist in configuring and testing new or enhanced business processes for Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and related plugins (such as Structure and JEMH) – including custom workflows, global settings, users and groups, screens, fields, permission schemes, post functions, dashboards, automations, plans, etc.
* Assist with various Atlassian system rollouts such as new releases, adoption and implementation of new functionality, and business process configuration changes – including review and testing prior to go‑live as needed.
* Gather all relevant information related to projects based on both customer requests and internal department optimization efforts.
* Collaboratively support the creation of materials for all related training, programs, and change management from new hire onboarding to manager training, UI updates to new process adoption.
* Act as the primary contact on Tier 1 requests for Atlassian system(s), investigating, troubleshooting and fixing issues related to the Atlassian tools suite. Collaborate with various resources, both internal and external, to resolve issues and to proactively stay informed about Atlassian system enhancements.
* Collaborate on Tier 2 requests for Atlassian system(s) integration issues, complex automation or access issues.
Qualifications
* Preferred candidate to hold recent ACP‑620 certification or ACP‑120 certification.
* Workday experience is a plus.
* A passion for all aspects of data and process – from integrity to analysis and beyond.
* Collaborative team member who works with all levels of administration in various departments.
