Overview
When the world is quiet and most people are asleep, our Night Care Workers are the ones who keep watch. They make sure our residents feel safe, cared for and never alone. If you find meaning in bringing comfort and reassurance through the night, this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities
* Be a steady, reassuring presence overnight
* Support residents with personal and intimate care
* Help with aids and equipment, and liaise with health professionals
* Keep bedrooms and shared spaces safe, clean and comfortable
* Monitor nutritional needs and respond calmly to emergencies
* Take part in meetings and training to help us keep improving
What We’re Looking For
* Someone kind, compassionate and reliable
* Basic computer literacy
* SVQ 3 in Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
* Flexibility to work on a rota, including evenings and weekends
* A practising Christian, this role carries an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act; we’re looking for someone who can live out Christian values of patience, compassion and respect in their care
