Job Title: Early Intervention Worker
Location: Enfield Children’s Centres
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract length: Initially 3 months - potential to extend
Salary: £21 UMBRELLA per hour (£17 PAYE)

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Early Intervention Worker to join the Children’s Centre Hub Team within Enfield. This exciting role involves delivering high-quality play and communication activities to support the growth and development of children aged 0–4 years across Enfield.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver activities that support communication, language, and literacy development in young children.
Help increase the proportion of children achieving expected levels of communication and literacy at the end of the Foundation Stage.
Record and report outcomes of worker-led events and user activities according to Centre procedures.
Contribute to delivering services aligned with the Government’s Core Purpose for Children’s Centres, improving outcomes and reducing inequalities in:
Child development and school readiness
Parenting aspirations and parenting skills
Child and family health and life chances
The ideal candidate will:
Be passionate about early years development and supporting families.
Be flexible to carry out daily work at any children’s centre setting, including satellite and community sites.
Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
