The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Head of Mathematics to join our influential middle leadership team. This Area of Learning and Experience has a solid strong track record in terms of pupil outcomes and offers potential candidates the opportunity to develop a culture of pedagogical innovation. The faculty is well resourced with a very experienced staff team and occupies a recently refurbished suite of classrooms. We are looking for an outstanding teacher with a commitment to delivering the highest quality learning experiences to the pupils in their care; and the ability to motivate all pupils to succeed in mathematics. The successful candidate will also be an inspirational leader who can enthuse and support their team through the challenges of the current educational landscape. Experience of teaching mathematics across the 11-16 age and ability range is essential and existing engagement in middle-leadership activity would also be highly advantageous.
