We are looking for an experienced vehicle mechanic to work on a flexible, part-time basis (1–2 days per week) at our busy used car sales and workshop site in Stowmarket. This is a self-employed / subcontractor role, ideal for someone looking to top up their existing workload or reduce full-time hours. Duties include: * Servicing and general maintenance * Diagnostics and fault finding * MOT preparation and repairs * Brake, suspension and engine work * Occasional vehicle inspections ✅ Requirements: * Proven experience as a mechanic * Ability to work independently * Own tools preferred * Reliable and professional Pay: Competitive day rate / hourly rate (negotiable based on experience) Flexible working: 1–2 days per week (with potential for more) Location: Charringtons Yard, Station Road East, Stowmarket, IP14 1EQ This role would suit a self-employed mechanic, semi-retired technician, or someone already working in the trade looking for extra work.
